Mission Statement
We, the Catholic family of Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, are people of faith,
rich in heritage and prayer. As a parish family, we are witnesses to God's
love in our community, committed to living and sharing the discipleship of
Jesus. This is accomplished through Eucharistic celebration, social
justice, the sharing of our gifts and by being a source of hope. We serve
one another by living the Gospel. We celebrate our sense of family through
liturgy, ministry and family-based education. We evangelize in our homes,
our neighborhoods and our work places. We welcome those in need.

- COVID-19 Vaccine Registration
Members of the Social Justice Ministry would like to assist parishioners 65 and older in getting registered to receive an appointment for the Covid-19 vaccine. We are primarily registering people on the the Austin Public Health website and recognize it has presented challenges for seniors as it requires applicants to have access to internet and email. We are in the process of training volunteers to help people navigate this process. Please help us in identifying older parishioners who need assistance. - Faithful Citizenship
The only “voter guide” approved for distribution on all Catholic property is Faithful Citizenship as distributed by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Faithful Citizenship teaches voters how to form their conscience to vote in a manner consistent with Church teaching. Pamphlets, fliers, booklets, handbills or any other material that mentions candidates by name should not be distributed anywhere on church property.

Faithful Citizenship in Spanish - UPCOMING EIM BASIC AND REFRESHER WORKSHOPS
EIM Basic and Refresher Workshops are scheduled on a quarterly basis by the EIM Office, coordinating with the EIM site administrator at parishes, schools and other diocesan agencies. All clergy and paid staff, and all volunteers working with youth and vulnerable adults, at any parish or diocesan location, are required to complete a one-time Application for Ministry AND are required to attend an EIM workshop within 60 days of completing the application and then every three years thereafter.
As of September 1, 2013, anyone needing an EIM workshop will sign up on-line through their EIM account. The sign up process is explained once you access your EIM account. Please contact our parish EIM site administrator if you need assistance. The parish office is accepting room request from the OLG ministry groups. Requests must be submitted via the room request form (forma en español) and groups requesting must be EIM compliant in order for their requests to be processed.
